Wedding Procession in Alsace, Gustave Brion

Established in the 8th century, Soufflenheim is first mentioned in 1147 when the Cistercian abbey of Neubourg acquired a “grangia” in Suvelnheim. The earliest records are house and land sales from the 14th century. Town accounts begin in 1664.  The Drexler Birth Index lists all records from 1792-1862.
