Notary, Church & Civil Records from Medieval Times to the 19th Century

About This Site

The purpose of this site is to share interesting, unusual and hard to find Soufflenheim genealogical and historical information, including over 2,000 inventories, contracts, marriage contracts and wills from 1368 to 1791, many completely translated, and to provide detailed descriptions of the various records available for study.

The emphasis is on research before 1792, and in particular, prior to 1743, the year of the earliest surviving church records and the year that genealogy research in Soufflenheim typically ends.
